Hospice involves the concept and practice
of compassionate health care for patients and families dealing with the final stages of a
life-threatening illness. When cure is no longer a viable option, there is still much that
can be done.
Hospice neither prolongs life nor hastens death. It focuses on keeping the patient
comfortable in his/her own residence and helping the patient and family cope with dignity.
For more than 20 years, CNS Hospice has played an important role in the lives of many

Hospice services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and many insurance plans. Hospice
services are provided to anyone regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, lifestyle,
national ancestry or financial circumstances.
